He has worked on the renowned exhibition Rooted, Revived, Reinvented: Basketry in America. He has also worked for the Tommy Bahama clothing company as an artist designing and painting imagery for their seasonal fashion shows at their headquarters in Seattle, WA, from which his paintings have been showcased in catalogues and window installations from New York to Los Angeles. Nikos is a published illustrator creating the artwork for the children's book, Joha's Story. He owned and managed a gallery in Chicago, The Hotei Gallery & Art Center.
